Privacy Policy

Timeglass collects no personal data. There is no account to create, no advertising and no analytics.

Last updated: 18 September 2026. This policy covers the Timeglass app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, and its Home Screen widget.

Who is responsible

Timeglass is published by Rodolphe Duperray, an individual developer. For any question about this policy, use the contact form.

What we collect

Nothing. The app asks for no name, no email address and no identifier. It contains no advertising network, no analytics tool and no third-party tracking library. We receive no usage statistics and no crash reports about you.

This matches the Data Not Collected declaration shown on the app’s App Store page.

Where your notes and photos are stored

The notes and photos you add, with their durations, are stored on your device. They are deleted automatically when their duration ends, or when you delete them.

If iCloud is enabled on your device, that content also syncs through your own private iCloud storage, using Apple’s CloudKit service, so that your devices stay in step. This storage belongs to your Apple Account. We have no access to it, and no way to read what it contains.

Notes written on Apple Watch are sent directly to your paired iPhone through Apple’s Watch Connectivity. The watch keeps them only until the iPhone confirms that they are saved.

Permissions

You can change these permissions at any time in Settings.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data, so it builds no profile of anyone, including children.

Keeping and deleting your data

Your content stays until its duration ends or until you delete it. Removing the app erases what is stored on the device. To remove the synced copy, open Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Timeglass and delete the data there.

Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export or erase. Rights granted by the GDPR and similar laws apply to data held by a company; here, your data never leaves your own devices and your own iCloud account. You are welcome to write to us with any question.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes.
