Privacy Policy
Lexilo collects no personal data. There is no account to create, no advertising and no analytics.

Who is responsible
Lexilo is published by Rodolphe Duperray, an individual developer. For any question about this policy, use the contact form.
What we collect
Nothing. The app asks for no name, no email address and no identifier. It contains no advertising network, no analytics tool and no third-party tracking library. We receive no usage statistics and no crash reports about you.
This matches the Data Not Collected declaration shown on the app’s App Store page.
Where your words are stored
The words, translations, explanations, lists and review history you create are stored on your device.
If iCloud is enabled on your device, that content also syncs through your own private iCloud storage, using Apple’s CloudKit service, so that your devices stay in step. This storage belongs to your Apple Account. We have no access to it, and no way to read what it contains.
Features provided by Apple
Three features rely on the system rather than on our servers, because we operate none:
- Translation suggestions, through Apple’s Translation framework.
- Explanations with Apple Intelligence, on devices that support it, using Apple’s on-device model.
- Spoken pronunciation, through the system speech synthesiser.
These run on your device. Their behaviour is governed by Apple’s privacy policy. Nothing about them is sent to us.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data, so it builds no profile of anyone, including children.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your content stays until you delete it. Removing the app erases what is stored on the device. To remove the synced copy, open Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Lexilo and delete the data there.
Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, export or erase. Rights granted by the GDPR and similar laws apply to data held by a company; here, your data never leaves your own devices and your own iCloud account. You are welcome to write to us with any question.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes.
